Unit 1b Reflection

1) The atom's valence electrons are most likely to bond because it is the outermost ring, and most of them are not completley full.
2) The group 18 noble gases usually do not formchemical bonds because they already have a full set of valence electrons.
3) It does not follow the Law of Conservation of Mass because the S disappears from the equation.
4) I confident on how to bond different elements with the valence eletrons.
5) I am still struggling with the type of reactions.
6) No, I do not have any other comments or questions.

Station 5 and 6

First the ice was put into the cup. Then the ice was watched for 2 minutes. After water formed from the ice melting. The ice was dumped into the sink. physical

First the lemon juice was put onto the filter paper. Then the teacher used the tongs and picked up the filter paper and placed it onto the heater. The place where the lemon juice was drawn showed up clearly. It looked as if the lemon juice place was burned and showed the smiley face that was drawn onto the paper. Then after the face was seen the filter paper was removed.

Reflections

I studied by looking over my notes, but I didn't really try my best. I didn't study for long. I studied for about 10 minutes. My studying did help me on the quiz a little because I managed to bet the bonus and some other questions. I'm confused about compound-molecules. I'm positive on the charges and the structure of the atom. Can it just be a molecule? What would be an example.
